The lighting design project for the creation of a Folio solution, to be installed above the swimming pool of a private residence, addresses the complex challenges of a humid environment saturated with chlorine vapors and high demands for architectural integration. For this setting, a custom version of the Rigo Frame light fixture was developed, featuring an IP65 protection rating and components capable of withstanding chemical emissions. The aluminum body promotes heat dissipation, while the transparent methacrylate sheet, engraved with Folio’s proprietary algorithm, ensures uniform light distribution. The 10-millimeter opal diffuser creates a full-light effect with luminous edges, enhancing the space both when the light is on and off. The custom shape and size of the product integrate seamlessly with the site’s minimal architecture, framing the water surface onto which the light is reflected, meeting both aesthetic and functional requirements.
