The project for Maison Lalique, the renowned French brand known for its high-quality artistic glass creations, welcomes visitors to the new flagship store in New York—a fluid space where the latest collections interact with a residential setting inspired by the homes of collectors and artists. The lighting compositions are designed to integrate harmoniously with the room’s elements, creating a symphony of design. Opal Glass C, part of the Folio Materials family, stands out for its slim profile and precious glass diffuser, designed by Lalique to enhance elegance and refinement. The custom light fixture consists of an aluminum body that ensures rigidity and heat dissipation, and an inner transparent methacrylate sheet, laser-engraved with Folio’s proprietary algorithm, ensuring 97% light uniformity. The glass diffuser protects the LED circuit without compromising light transmission, enhancing the aesthetic both when the lights are on and off. All components are assembled using a C-shaped aluminum frame that fully encloses the perimeter.
