Journal Square | Opal 10L

Folio Opal 10L

Inside Journal Square, the lighting defines a space for rest and interaction through an essential and recognizable luminous sign. The large suspended rings made with Opal 10L become a central element of the architecture, drawing light volumes that interact with the height and transparency of the environment.

Opal 10L technology, with its reduced thickness and highly uniform opal diffuser, generates continuous, homogeneous light along the entire circular profile, ensuring visual comfort and enhancing materials and surfaces.

Suspended above the seating area, the lighting elements create a precise graphic rhythm and a focal point that encourages people to linger and interact. In this project, Folio also constructed the entire metal shell of the rings: a mechanical and aesthetic structure in a matt black finish that reinforces the architectural and contemporary character of the project.
