"Storia della Notte e Destino delle Comete Italian Pavillon 59th International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia. Folio is the Official Technical Sponsor of the large environmental installation by Gian Maria Tosatti, curated by Eugenio Viola for the Italian Pavilion 59. International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, promoted by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture Venice, 23 April 2022 - 27 November 2022". The large glass window, protagonist of the first room of the Italian Pavilion, captures the attention by emanating a soft natural light that contrasts with the dark and intimate atmosphere of the entire room.  Folio Base 1 + Viti panels backlight the works that make up the stained-glass window, creating unity between the indoor industrial environment and the natural world outside. The custom-made light bodies trace the architecture of the pavilion and are protagonists in the symbolic tale of the rise and fall of the Italian industrial dream. Folio Lighting technology serves the large environmental installation by recreating an illusory window inside the now disused factory.
